One of the most surprising tables I find myself sitting at on the train cart since I started on my path is reading. To me the most fundamental connection we can have to anyone is to read their story. The second best is to read the stories that inspried them So here I will list some of my favorite books from my Dragon Library anyone is welcome to stop by and borrow.

  • Books on My Path – Soul of an Octopus

First book being read on the Maya Express is about the book that changed my perspective on all living creatures. It will tie spiritually, greatly, into the next couple of posts as well. I found this book, randomly on bottom shelf in back of the store, at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago in January 2020…

  • Books on My Path – Yoga and the Dark Night of the Soul

This book helped me in making my way through the Path of Loss the second time. It’s one of the first Journey books someone shared with me in Bhakti. I was looking for the Amazon link and sure enough I bought this as a recommended reading shortly as I started the second time down the…

  • Books On My Path – Journey Home

Definitely the first book I can’t help but talk all day about. The story at parts connects so deeply with my own journey in my heart, that some of the scenes felt like I lived them. This was the story that hooked me on reading and learning more and more about Bhakti. The Journey Home…

  • Books On My Path – Journey Within

The follow up to Journey Home. This book is a great guide for walking the Path of Walking. Many analogies and stories I use to this day, some of inspired by this book. I recommend anyone wanting to walk the Path of Intention to read this book. It isn’t a book that gave me any…

  • Books On My Path – Bhagavad Gita: As It Is

The Bhagavad Gita: As It Is, to me is a book that is something you pick up with the purpose you will not have when you put it down. I find every time I pick it up for one Intention, my Intentions shift a little. The translator and purport author is His Divine Grace A.C.…

  • Books on My Path – Mahabharata

The title is translated as “Great Bharat (India)”. The epic poem. The story that contains the Bhagavad Gita – The most sacred of spiritual texts. The Mahābhārata is the longest poem ever written. At over 100,000 slokas/verses and 200,000 lines the epic poem was memorized generation after generation. Imagine remembering 1.8-million-word long poem. I can’t even remember my own…
