To walk the Path of Walking is simple. Start today and walk half a kilometer. Then next month add a half and by the end of the year you will be walking six kilometers. And that my friends is the Path of Walking.

Anything else? Okay maybe the Path of Walking isn’t that easy.

Or is it?

The last three months I have posted these stories of amazing and adventurous Paths along my journey. With a broad stroke I showed how to implement them and how they impacted my life and how I think they can impact yours.

This Path isn’t that Path.

This Path sits at the “Put up Or Shut Up” table of the Maya express.

We established long ago the Maya express is both material world and Hell. Ironically, it’s the place we are also given our free will. The Hell it has become, is of our own doing as a society influenced by Maya and the Demons they deploy.

The life we have is not just about living on the Maya Express but also finding and staying on our Spiritual Path. Bound by birth to live our life on the Maya Express, while only being able to move along our Spiritual Path in small incremental steps of Walking.

The Maya Express is where God steps back and says:

“Whether you decide to do good, whether you decide to be good, I will let you and everyone on the train decide that for yourselves. I love you and won’t be far. I’ll always be here when you step off or when you fall”

I fall

Man do I fall and fall often.

I even caught myself falling on video once. Captain came, to make sure my drink didn’t spill of course.

Every time I’m falling into depression the same patterns emerge.

Spending too much on caffeinated drinks and chocolate.
Not cooking fresh foods but falling back on frozen and quick but unhealthy drive thru.
Over sleeping, not shaving.
Writing this made me realize that’s actually been the last few weeks since my last road trip to be honest.
That’s when I can fall the hardest. It’s when I risk falling down the Paths of Complacency and Maya.

It’s all because I stop walking the Walk. I stop my routines. I make excuses, then the same patterns emerge every time. We all have those destructive patterns.

The Path of Walking is recognizing when you fall into the patterns of just talking the talk.

When we walk the Path of Walking and not just talking the talk you will stumble and fall often.

I fall everyday.

Every time I get angry at a coworker or customer service rep, I fall.
Every time I judge a person, I fall.
Every time I cuss out WordPress for not working the way it’s supposed to, I fall.
Every time I speak ill of someone or gossip, I fall.
Every horn honk, extended hand gesture or choice words while driving. I fall.

Consistency

Where is God, my Spiritual Guide through all this?

Standing there waiting for me to ask for a hand back up.

We just sit there. We have this feeling of personal disgust that we fell again.

Every Time.

But not our Spiritual Guide. They are standing there with Love and compassion and Their hand extended to help us up the second we ask.

Every Time.

They realize it’s events on the Maya Express that sticks a leg out and trips us on the Path.

Every Time.

The Path of Walking isn’t the steps we take on our Spiritual Path. It’s the steps we take after we fall.

Every Time.

It’s when we decide to get back up. It’s recognizing I was a jerk, I crossed a line. I fell from my perch due to my ego.

The Path of Walking is literally Walking the Walk.

Talking about Gratitude. Make it a practice.
Routines, start building them.

The Path of Walking isn’t about showing everyone else you can walk the walk. It isn’t about showing the world you are a better person. You don’t post about walking the walk on Bluesky, Instagram or Snapchat.

You don’t blog about it.

You just do it.

It’s about making each day a testimony to walking your own path. It’s about showing up every day to show yourself you are a better person today.

Courage To Apologize

The Path of Walking is the Path everyone avoids. It takes lots of courage.

The courage to apologize.

Every time you fall, and you recognize it, immediately apologize to anyone whose life was affected. Many tables on the Maya Express say apologizing and taking ownership of mistakes is a sign of weakness.

Reality is it’s a lot harder to stand a face the consequences than it is to deny and stay off our Path. If you aren’t willing to stand when faced with true words of your actions, then how can we walk the Path of Walking? Have the courage to be a hypocrite if that is what is required.

Just as we should have the courage to stand, we need the courage to trust that others are trying when they appear to be trying.

The Courage to Trust

Trust the View of your Path of Walking is true.

On the View of Money, I mentioned it’s time we learn to trust, and the Path of Walking is where we learn to start. That trust begins by trusting our Path and truly walking it. Trust you can’t see the whole Path, valleys of darkness may be ahead, but that you can make it through it all.

The fact is that there is only one way we build trust.

We have to trust ourselves and trust the Spiritual Path laid before us and start walking.

This is the Path where God walks with us when we ask; and stays at a distant like a parent teaching a child to ride a bike when we don’t.

Waiting for us to either step back off the train or fall. When we fall, they wait. Wait to see if we stand back up or ask for help back up.

This is the moment we don’t fear failing, we don’t fear not having the strength to get back up. This is the moment we raise our head up knowing that our Spiritual Guide is there for us and knowing with confidence we will get through this together. That whether we fall, there will always be a hand there to help us back up.

That when we walk the walk, we don’t do it alone at all. When we walk the Path of Walking, we are doing it with our Spiritual Guide and EVERY single solitary person who is truly walking their Path too.

The moment you truly walk your Path of Walking you see an entire road open full of people who do exist for the purpose of doing good and walking the walk.

This is the moment our Spiritual Guide and us decide to walk the Path or walk an illusionary path running inside The Maya Express, appearing to be running in parallel with our Spiritual Path.

Are we going to walk the walk of our Spiritual Path or talk more about it inside the Maya Express.

Be the Example

This is the Path that will hammer home one truth so many refuses to acknowledge.

You can’t force anyone to walk their path, nor walk your path with you.

Unfortunately, if you are walking the Path of Walking after the Path of Maya, you probably learned this lesson the hard way. You see, when you walk your Path, you think everyone should just be able to walk your Path. It’s so easy.

Except, once your own feet touch your Path, the dirt underneath it changes. The Path that is left after your foot stepped on it, no longer matches the Path that was there before your foot stepped on the Path.

No two souls can walk the exact same Path.

My favorite quote from the Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 Verse 47 says this exact thing

It is better to engage in one’s own occupation, even though one may perform it imperfectly, than to accept another’s occupation and perform it perfectly…. purport

Be YOUR SELF. Don’t be afraid to be your true self.

This is the moment you realized when you walk the walk that:

Your parents might not walk the walk with you.
Your spouse might not walk the walk with you.
Your children might not walk the walk with you.

This is the moment you have to decide.

Are you going to Walk the Walk to be an example to other people?

Not in spite of them.

Not demand others walk with you.

But are you going to walk the walk because it’s just the right thing to do?

Are you going to walk the walk and walk your Spiritual Path because it’s what’s best for you; or are you going to stay on the Maya Express with everyone else and just talk the talk?

There is only one way we change and one way we make a difference, whether together or alone they both start by setting our Path of Intention.

Yours Forever Grateful
